This is my first colored pencil drawing. It is from a picture given to my daughter by her uncle. These little fellas were so cute that I had to try and paint them. I am really enjoying the medium very much, although it is very time consuming, it travels very well. You can move around different areas of the house without making a complete mess.
“Fruit” in Crayon
Okay. This is the fruit from my art class. I colored it with crayola crayons. I have been playing with them for a while, and it is pretty cool layering and burnishing the colors. Before you laugh at my childish ways look up Don Marco and Jeffrey Robert. You will be shocked!
“My Clock” in acrylic on canvas
We painted our kitchen and I needed a clock. I didn’t really find anything that I liked…so…I made my own. I am not really a flower person, even though I have drawn my share of them and probably will draw more in the future. It’s still kinda cute.

These two are actually almost 3 ft wide and 6 feet tall. They are hanging in my hall and I love them dearly, but they don’t match our rug. I don’t know what I am going to do about that.

This is a wierd piece. It is my first abstract. I love the metallic colors peeping through the black and the stark background makes the focal point really stand out.

“The Durable Samsonite”
No kidding that is our Samoyed’s name. We named him that because he lays around like luggage. We call him Sam for short and a few other things at times. When I am not mad at him and I am in a pretty good mood I call him butter bean (like he cares). My husband asked me to draw these two pictures for him.
